Germany: Public sector strikes hit schools and hospitals DW 11/23/2023
Public sector employees in Germany, including teachers and police, have begun strikes over collective bargaining demands.
Hospitals in several German states will be affected by a two-day strike by public sector employees.
Unions are demanding a 10.5% pay increase and city-state bonuses in Berlin, Bremen, and Hamburg. [ more ]
